Cultural References

Martin Smarty: "He's more rebel now than boy." -- Mr. Smarty's line references to Obi-Wan Kenobi's line in Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi, in which referring to Darth Vader, he says, "He's more machine now than man."

The title of this episode is a play on words. It comes from the first line of William Shakespeare’s play, “Richard III”.
“Now is the winter of our discontent / Made glorious summer by this sun of York;”
…and has nothing to do with the plot
